![]() This time I had no brick and no fireplace obsticles and the walls were built exactly the way I wanted. It was a massive undertaking but it was time to explore this live acoustical space as well. I had the ceiling height and could do the compression celing now and had the floor built the way that I wanted. I bought a framing gun, and a trim gun and went to town. Fortunately during this process I was fortunate to have the opportunity to mentor a guy now known to us all by the name of Dan Mr .Choclitz (Himself) Tilgner. He wanted to learn how to build a world class studio and no matter what I threw at him he was willing to. The interior costruction of the control room was built by me. Choclitz was staining boards right after I cut them and I was installing them. This time with the new tools and having the experience of having building this room twice before I was able to complete the room in 2 weeks. Below is a picture of what it looked like just before I put gear in there and trimmed it out. As you probably can see now I was able to hang the big reds from the ceiling. ![]() |
